after 8 years warp records’s finest boards of canada broke the silence. the massive fanbase have been above the ground since last year’s very short notice on the coming new album. then they shared a riddle about the album with a sniplet, and finally a new track has been landed. 4 days ago a mysterious time and place was spread, which ended up in a teaser in shibuya/tokyo (and simultaneously at detroit’s demf before squarepusher’s set), 2 days ago they tweeted a picture with a date which was actually a google maps location in the california desert. a few fans visited the place and they happened to hear a preview of the new album. well done!
